The anticipation level has been building since it was revealed earlier this year that Mudvayne members Greg Tribbett and Matt McDonough were starting a new band with Skrape vocalist Billy Keeton and bassist Perry Stern. Now the wait is over as we have the first official new song from Audiotopsy premiering exclusively here at Loudwire. The track (listen below) is called "Headshot" and it comes from the band's debut disc, Natural Causes.

As you can hear, the song is a heavy rocker featuring Keeton's raw vocals and some driving guitar work that really pushes the pace of the song. It's a solid first impression for the group's members as they begin the next stage of their respective careers.

“It’s from the point-of-view or the eyes of, not necessarily a soldier, but anybody who’s in battle and in the trenches,” vocalist Billy Keeton tells Loudwire. “Metaphorically speaking, it’s life through the eyes of somebody fighting a battle.”

As stated, the track is featured on the band's debut disc and it's the lead off song on the album. Natural Causes is due Aug. 28 via Napalm Records and you can see the album art at the top of this post, while the track listing for the disc is featured below the new song.
