Between the Buried and Me frontman Tommy Rogers has announced some exciting new projects. Rogers is currently writing his second solo album under the moniker of Thomas Giles and has finished composing a film score while gearing up to film a new Between the Buried and Me DVD.

Under the Thomas Giles name, Rogers released his debut solo album, 'Pulse,' via Metal Blade in 2011. The BTBAM frontman's follow-up to the recording will be entitled 'Modern Noise' and is scheduled for release sometime in 2014. "I'll be in the studio with Jamie King in July and his magic will be present as always," says Rogers via Facebook. "I am also getting BTBAM’s first drummer, Will Goodyear to play drums on the record. He is a very talented man and I can't wait to see what he adds to the songs."

The expert musician has also completed the score for 'Dutch Book,' an upcoming film which tells the story of a Florida teenager launching a scheme to pay off his father's gambling debts. "It will be released hopefully by the end of the year," reveals Rogers. "More updates soon on that."

Finally, Rogers' update ends with a few lines on Between the Buried and Me's upcoming DVD, in which the band will perform their 2012 masterpiece, 'The Parallax II: Future Sequence,' in its entirety from an intimate setting rather than at a live show.

BTBAM are currently touring North America with Deafheaven, Intronaut + the Kindred. To check out the remaining tour dates, click here.
