The 'Revolver Golden Gods' just concluded, but there's another hard rocking awards ceremony on the horizon. Rock magazine 'Alternative Press' will hold their inaugural awards ceremony at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, located on the shore of Lake Erie in Cleveland.

The AP Music Awards will take place July 21 and will be hosted by Blink-182 frontman Mark Hoppus. The event will feature a performance lineup that includes Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Fall Out Boy, the Misfits, A Day to Remember, All Time Low, Panic! At the Disco's Brendon Urie, Asking Alexandria and Twenty One Pilots. Organizers also revealed that more performers may be added and a few surprise guests are in store.

The evening will also include 15 awards, including Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and a special Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Victory Records. Nominees in each of the categories can be seen below. You can vote for your favorites at www.altpress.com/apmas, with voting coming to an end on July 15.

Other artists confirmed to take part in the event include Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan, Korn, Black Veil Brides' Andy Biersack, Machine Gun Kelly and Emmure's Frankie Palmeri.

Corgan's appearance comes as he'll be saluted with the Alternative Press Vanguard Award, given to an artist who has exuded considerable influence on a generation of rock music. "I'm honored and thrilled to be AP's first Vanguard Award recipient as the magazine continues to be a standard bearer for all independent music artists," said Corgan. Joan Jett, who is also performing at the event, will be saluted with the AP Icon Award.

Tickets for the inaugural Alternative Press Music Awards will go on sale tomorrow at this location.
