Something dark and rocking this way comes! It's Black Satellite and they've teamed with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive premiere of their new video for "Valkyrie."

The duo of vocalist Larissa Vale and guitarist Kyle Hawken definitely capture a mood with their new song as the melodic guitars lay the foundation below Vale's increasingly intensifying vocal. Vale offers a vulnerable yet powerful vocal taking command of the narrative.

She tells us, "'Valkyrie' was a way for me to take control of my innate fear of death by externalizing it. We definitely wanted this video to capture the essence of the song. Apparently, this meant choosing the most remote shooting location we could find! We traversed secluded paths stepping over shotgun shells at our feet, and passed a lot of buildings with 'GET OUT' spray painted on them. We found exactly what we were looking for."

Speaking of which, the eye-catching clip finds the duo walking amongst the haunting Pennsylvania town known as Concrete City. The town is made up entirely of concrete and is considered to be one of the most mysterious and ominous locations in the state.

If you like what you hear, "Valkyrie" is featured on Black Satellite's new album, Endless, which was released earlier this month. Vale says the album deals in themes of conflict, self-acceptance and desire, while trying to find a balance amidst the chaos. The disc is currently available via iTunes and in physical formats at the band's website.
