The Loudwire readers have voted and Black Veil Brides have the July 2015 release of the month with their new DVD Alive and Burning. The high energy concert collection bested Symphony X's Underworld, Lamb of God's VII: Sturm Und Drang, Between the Buried and Me's Coma Ecliptic, Cradle of Filth's Hammer of the Witches and Awaken the Empire's Aurora, which all put up big voting numbers.

Last fall, over Halloween weekend, Black Veil Brides took over their hometown Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles for their most explosive performances to date. The set features such classic songs as "Knives of Pens" and "Fallen Angels" alongside such newer favorites as "Faithless" and "Heart of Fire." Plus, viewers will get to experience a powerful drum solo from CC Coma, the band's cover of Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" and the set closing favorite "In the End." And, there will be a "Meet the Fans" feature as a bonus for the disc. Simply put, it's the perfect concert document for the band's career to date.

Singer Andy Biersack told Full Metal Jackie earlier this year, "I think for us, being the band that always had the aspirations and dreams to be the kind of band that could put on a big theatrical stage show, it’s taken a long time in our career. And naturally it takes a while for any band to get to the point where they can have that big stage show. When you’re a young kid and go to a concert and see a big pyrotechnics or video screens, the reality behind how long that may take to get to that point both where it’s financially viable but also makes sense for you on a scalable ability to be able to tour with it, you don’t really think about that. We now are at a point, thankfully, that we can do a much more impressive and visual show and we felt that it was time to capture that with the DVD."
