First Iggy Pop's song about heroin addiction, 'Lust for Life,' provided the soundtrack to an entire Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines ad campaign, and now this: Cannibal Corpse have signed on for the 2012 70000 Tons of Metal cruise, which is being billed at the "World's Biggest Floating Heavy Metal Festival."

The cruise, which will feature 40 metal bands performing on board the ship and boatloads of metal-related activities, launches Jan. 23 out of Miami and travels to the Cayman Islands before returning to Miami on the Jan. 27. The 70000 Tons lineup will also include (in a very particular order that kinda tells a story) Pestilence, My Dying Bride, Coroner, Dark Funeral, Grave Digger and God Dethroned, among others.

Tickets for the trip start at (of course) $666, plus $289 in taxes and fees. They include all on-board entertainment, non-alcoholic drinks, most dining options and even 24-hour room service.

"Enjoy tons of live shows on three stages all day and night long," reads promotional material about the cruise. "Headbang in the hot-tub while you watch your favorite band play on the pool-deck stage or check out some of the workshops and clinics with the musicians on board."

Last year's 70000 Tons fest included Testament, Obiruary, Fear Factory, Iced Earth and Nevermore.
