In February earlier this year, it was announced that Black Veil Brides' Andy Biersack and Asking Alexandria's Ben Bruce were set to star in the American Satan film, which was written by Ash Avildsen, founder of Sumerian Records. Now, more details have emerged surrounding the cast members as well as contributors of original songs for the movie and it's a doozie!

Already backed by the star power of Biersack and Bruce, both of whom have rabid fanbases, American Satan is lined with more icons of the heavy metal stage and the silver screen. Also set to appear are Malcolm McDowell, Denise Richards, WWE legend Goldberg as well as song contributions from members of the Sumerian Records roster. The post from the film's Facebook page (seen below) offers a concise snapshot at the star-studded details.

The two rockers, Biersack and Bruce, will presumably be playing a familiar role, cast as two members of a band who drop out of college and relocate to Los Angeles in hopes of achieving rock stardom on the Sunset Strip. Duped by a dubious character during a time of weakness, the band goes on to influence society with their music, but have lost control of their destiny and must reclaim it before it's too late.

American Satan is not the only metal-centric movie set for release this year. Gutterdammerung, billed as "the loudest silent movie on earth," is bursting with rock and metal's biggest names, including Henry Rollins, Iggy Pop, Tom Araya, Lemmy Kilmister, Slash and many more. The film tells the tale of the Devil's guitar being sent to Earth to restore sin.
