After playing with Guns N' Roses in South America, it has just been announced that bassist Duff McKagan will also be on stage with the band at this week's Revolver Golden Gods Awards taking place Wednesday, April 23, in Los Angeles. McKagan has been filling in with his former band while Tommy Stinson tours with The Replacements. Stinson is set to return to GN'R on May 13.

We caught up with singer Charlotte Wessels, who spoke about the concepts and themes of the disc. On Friday night, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins' new band Birds of Satan played their first gig at their record release party at Rock and Roll Pizza in Moorpark, Calif. Yes, that Rock and Roll Pizza, scene of the infamous secret Foo Fighters gig last December. It was an intimate affair with only 70 fans allowed entrance to the quasi-private event.
