James Hetfield has been a long time supporter of Little Kids Rock, an organization which provides music instruction and instruments to public schools. The Metallica frontman was honored with the charity's inaugural 'Livin' the Dream Award' at their annual Rockin' the Bay Benefit Concert in Menlo Park, Calif., over the weekend, and Hetfield performed "Enter Sandman" with some of the kids during the event (watch the videos below).
