Who's ready to jam in Helsinki? If you've got your electric guitar, can rock and are free and in the Helsinki area on Aug. 14 this year, Children of Bodom's Alexi Laiho wants you.

The guitar great has been commissioned to compose a song for the Helsinki Festival this year and he's turning it into a jam in which 100 electric guitarists will join him in performing the track on the festival's main stage on Aug. 14 at 6PM.

The song is aptly titled "100 Guitars From Hell," and Laiho demonstrates a piece of the track in the video above to allow the guitarists interested to dissect and practice up on before helping him turn Helsinki's Senate Square into a metal arena.

In order to take part, play and shoot an audition video using Alexi's riff from the video above. Upload the clip to YouTube and to the 100 Guitars From Hell site, share it and hope that Laiho likes it enough for you to get the call to play alongside him. For more info, check here.

Children of Bodom have been in the studio of late working on a new album. The band started laying down drums for the disc earlier this month. Look for the group to return to touring in June, beginning with the Sweden Rock Festival on June 6. See all their dates here.
