Finnish metal masters Children of Bodom have announced that they will be releasing the photo book 'Roadkill' on Wednesday, Aug. 8. The photo book contains five years worth of memories from the hard-touring band, and the first 666 copies have been autographed by the entire band.

Children of Bodom previously stated that the book would be dedicated to their fans [the 'Hate Crew'] and would consist of photos that the band had been shooting for "over two years," but according to guitarist Roope Latvala in the video below, the timetable is closer to five years.

The band released a short video of them personally signing the first 666 copies of 'Roadkill' and showing fans a few stills of what they can expect from the new offering. Children of Bodom have built a strong reputation when it comes to touring heavily and partying hard during it all, so there's sure to be some gold found within the pages of 'Roadkill.'

Children of Bodom also recently released 'Holiday at Lake Bodom (15 Years of Wasted Youth)' earlier this year, which is a comprehensive CD/DVD retrospective of the band's career while playing under the Children of Bodom name.

'Roadkill' will be released on Wednesday, Aug. 8, via Hatecrew.com.
