Metal fans, if you're in the mood for something experimental, cerebral and a bit out of left field, we've got your prescription. Taiwanese blackened death / symphonic metal act Chthonic released their seventh studio album, 'Bu-Tik' (武德), earlier this year and we've got the exclusive premiere of the band's new music video for 'Set Fire to the Island.'

Chthonic have been around for nearly 20 years creating extreme music mixed with traditional Taiwanese and Chinese sensibilities while exploring ancient historical and mythological subjects within their lyrics. 'Set Fire to the Island' contains a plethora of dynamics throughout the four-minute track, keeping the listener captivated throughout the tune.

"'Set Fire to the Island' is the most exciting song to play in the entire album," says bassist Doris 'Thunder Tears' Yeh. "I can't wait to turn everyone on with this song!"

As for touring, Chthonic only have a few Asian dates scheduled for 2013. The group performed a bunch of North American shows in late 2011, and we hope the band will hit the States once again in the near future.
