Let's hope Corey Taylor's skin is as thick as his mask, because the Slipknot / Stone Sour vocalist is set to be roasted! Taylor will be ripped to shreds by some brilliant comedians, awesome musicians and even the Slipknot singer's own bandmate Shawn 'Clown' Crahan.

To kick off this year's Rock on the Range Festival, Corey Taylor will be royally teased during the Monster Energy Roast on the Range on Thursday, May 15. The event will be held at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio and a portion of the proceeds will go towards MusiCares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing critical assistance to "music people" in times of need.

Hosted by Roastmaster Sebastian Bach, Corey Taylor will be verbally assaulted by comics Jim Florentine, Don Jamieson, Craig Gass, Brian Posehn and Finesse Mitchell, along with Anthrax's Scott Ian and his musician wife Pearl Aday, plus Slipknot's own Shawn 'Clown' Crahan.

"Honestly, I don't know what to say. I'm a little nervous, a little excited, and of course a little gassy. But that could just be the excitement,” says Taylor. “I'm really looking forward to it, but knowing my friends and the possibilities for who could be a part of this, I have no idea what I'm getting into!"

Sebastian Bach adds, “I really look forward to roasting my good buddy Corey Taylor in Columbus, Ohio this May. Corey is right now following my lead becoming the brand-new pretty boy frontman of heavy metal. Oh wait … he's wearing a mask. See you soon!”

Tickets to attend Roast on the Range with Corey Taylor are currently on sale, starting at $75. To grab tickets for the May 15 roast, click here.
