Earlier in their careers, there were some harsh feelings amongst metal's masked bands, but Slipknot's Corey Taylor says he would like to see that put to rest by getting those acts together for a tour. Speaking with Live-Metal.net, Taylor says that the idea is definitely something that is "on my radar."

Taylor reveals that he has imagined a tour where Slipknot toured with Mushroomhead, Mudvayne and GWAR. He explains, "I'm working on that, honestly. It probably won't happen right away, just because [Slipknot's] been gone for a while and we have all these changes and we've got a new album coming out. So we want to kinda take the first six or seven months and just kind of re-establish ourselves. But I can say it's on my radar and it's one of the things I want to do, like for real."

However, Taylor laments that the trek didn't happen while GWAR frontman Dave Brockie (aka Oderus Urungus) was alive. "Brockie ... was one of the guys I really wanted to tour with," explains Taylor. "It was GWAR, Slipknot, Mushroomhead and Mudvayne. I really wanted to put that together, so trust me, hopefully sooner than later, we will see what happens."

Meanwhile, Mushroomhead's J. Mann also said he's be up for it, adding, "As far as a feud goes, I really think that it was 99 percent media. I don't think we ever really had anything bad to say about them or vice versa … I listen to the band and think they're kickass, and one day I'd like to play with them."

As for Mudvayne, that may be a harder sell as the group is currently on hiatus with vocalist Chad Gray currently busy with Hellyeah. Mudvayne stated back in late March, "With respect to all the band members, we are all doing something in music that satisfies our appetite right now. When the time is right, Mudvayne WILL be back in action."

Stay tuned in the coming years to see if this potential tour plays out.
