Beers and bands just seem to go together and Crobot are ready to bring their backing to a beer called "SupernaturAle." The group will host a special launch for their new brew Oct. 10 in Smithfield, N.C.

The Imperial Brown Ale has been cranked up to 11 percent ABV and features of plum and grape that blend with a strong malt backbone to form a monster mosh pit on your tongue.

Vocalist Brandon Yeagley says, "The dirty-faced brethren are teaming up with Double Barley Brewing to bring you a strange brew like no other. Straight from the Necromancer's cauldron and filtered through a wizard's beard, SupernaturAle is a brew like you've never had before. Weighing in at 11.2 percent ABC, this heavy hitting Imperial double brown-ale is infused with orange blossom honey and currant-infused hops but don't be fooled it's sweetness.  This grog will add a few inches to your beard."

The SupernaturAle launch event takes place at the Double Barley Headquarters in Smithfield, N.C. on Oct. 10. There will be a meet-and-greet with the band, followed by performances by 4 Fifths and Joco before Crobot melts your face off to finish out the evening. The band is currently playing dates with Motorhead and will wrap up the run as part of the Motorhead Motorboat Cruise, taking place Sept. 28-Oct. 2.
