††† (Crosses) Unveil Trippy ‘Telepathy’ Video

Subscribe to Loudwire on

Those who’ve followed ††† (Crosses) so far know that the group is somewhat out of the wheelhouse of what we’ve come to expect from Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, yet the music still uniquely captures the atmospheric vocal abilities that we’ve come to love from the singer. The band is now giving fans another taste of music to savor as their ‘Telepathy’ video has surfaced online courtesy of Moreno.

The clip is the proper amount of trippy, feeling as though it was created in the ’80s with the special effects flying saucer that comes to Earth, the primary characters mirroring the style of the day and even the song, feeling as though it was rooted in the synth-based heyday of the ’80s.

The psychedelic clip features a couple preparing for a night on the town, though one of them may actually be an alien. There’s plenty of thermal heat projection visuals throughout the clip, which also provides a uniquely ’80s vibe.

Check out the ‘Telepathy’ video above, and look for the song on Crosses’ (†††) self-titled album, currently available at iTunes.
