Dave Grohl Brings Sound City Players to NYC – Exclusive Photo Gallery
It would seem that with Foo Fighters on hiatus, we wouldn't be hearing much from them, but that's certainly not the case. Dave Grohl and the rest of the Foos rocked New York City last night (Feb. 13) as the primary backing band for the Sound City Players, a collection of acclaimed musicians who came together to celebrate Grohl's new documentary and the storied music studio that the film chronicles.
The concert last night featured several sets led by various artists, including such legends as John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival and Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac. Also participating in the once-in-a-lifetime show were musicians like Nirvana's Krist Novoselic and Rage Against the Machine's Brad Wilk.
