We recently caught up with Dave Mustaine before Megadeth's show in New York City, and we had the chance to speak with the metal legend on a number of topics. We've already posted our two-part 'Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction' episode with him, and in this part of the interview (above), he talks about whether the United States is on a path to becoming a dystopian society, his thoughts on the new Megadeth lineup and offers up the band's tentative plans for Gigantour 2016.

Megadeth's new album is called Dystopia, which by definition means "an imagined place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad, typically a totalitarian or environmentally degraded one." We asked Mustaine if the U.S. is in danger of becoming a dystopian society, and he told us, "Sadly, I do," going into detail about his thoughts on the current administration.

As far as the new Megadeth members Chris Adler on drums and Kiko Loureiro on guitar, Mustaine told us why he feels they help make up the band's strongest lineup yet. And, finally he tells us of Megadeth's tentative plans to launch another run of their Gigantour trek in the second half of 2016, and which band they may be bringing along with them.

Check out the video above to see Dave Mustaine talk about all of the aforementioned topics. Megadeth's Dystopia album is available at iTunes.
