December in Red are enjoying a breakout year with their album The Way Out, having already made some strides with their "Send Me a Postcard" single. Now they're ready to unleash their next video for "Hadouken" with special guest Jahred Gomes of (Hed) P.E. and the clip is exclusively debuting here at Loudwire. The hard rocking track gets a live performance video, which can be seen above.

December in Red's Del McGeachy says, "I’ve been a huge (Hed) P.E. fan since 1997 so getting the opportunity to have Jahred on a track with us was a serious honor. Thanks go to Jahred for the cameo and Cavigold Records for hooking it up. We didn’t find out that we were going to get him for a song until shortly before we went in to track The Way Out album. The first time I heard his verse, I couldn’t stop grinning. Jahred spent the day with us at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle where the album was tracked to finish the song and then stuck around the following day to shoot the video with us right there in the studio where the song was recorded."

He adds, "We’ve been on the road with (Hed) P.E. a couple of times since then and he’s stepped up to perform the song with us on both tours. That’s some bucket list material for me and some of the best times we’ve had on the road yet. We’re very proud of how the song and video turned out. We can’t wait to share 'Hadouken' with everyone."

As for Jahred, he adds, "December in Red are able to be both melodic and hardcore which for me is always a balance that I'm looking for. The guys are able to take their sound on the road and gain new fans every time they step on stage. A lot of bands are able to make a good sounding record, but then their live show lacks, but not DIR ... they f--king bring it every night!  Working with them on 'Hadouken' was a blast and the Robert Lang Studios is legendary.  Many of my idols have recorded their finest work there; so it was a dream come true.  Every time I guest on stage with DIR its fun as hell.  Just a great band, period."

December in Red have a handful of dates this summer before playing a more extended tour in late September and October. See their upcoming shows here. And for those interested in picking up The Way Out album, it's available via Amazon and iTunes. Check out additional behind the scenes photos from the video shoot below.
