As their timeless brand of punk rock continues to resonate in the ears of fans worldwide, the Descendents have truly earned their spot as one of punk rock's most important bands. After a 13-year break from touring, the band have been sporadically touring since 2010, and we got the opportunity to speak with the caffeinated 'Mass Nerders' for an exclusive interview.

Before the band's massively anticipated set at the Brooklyn Riot Fest, we sat down with singer Milo Aukerman and guitarist Stephen Egerton, with some brief interruptions by drummer and prolific music producer Bill Stevenson, to chat about the band's reunion, Milo's doctorate in biochemistry, writing for their first new album since 2004's 'Cool to Be You' + much more.
