Disturbed continue to show as much dedication to the visual aspect of their music as they do to the songs themselves. The band have teamed with acclaimed video director Matt Mahurin to deliver a powerful and visually impressive new clip for their cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence."

“We hope that everyone enjoys the experience of this song and video as much as we have," said David Draiman to Yahoo, who premiered the clip.

As you can see, Mahurin uses black and white to great effect, showcasing the emotion of the song and bringing greater focus into the face of David Draiman, who is shot in close up as he belts the song while it grows in intensity.

"Sound of Silence" is featured on the band's latest album, Immortalized, which became the band's fifth straight disc to debut at No. 1 back in August. The single follows on the heels of their recent hits "The Vengeful One" and "The Light."

Look for Disturbed returning to the road in 2016 with their first extended touring of North America after a four-year hiatus. Dates can be found here.
