DragonForce have announced a North America tour, which will kick off on April 27 in Baltimore, Md. and wraps on May 23 in Orlando, Fla. Kamelot will join the progressive speed metal band on the 21-date outing next year.

Guitarist Herman Li is looking forward to the run saying, "It's always a problem where to start a World Tour and as we started the last touring cycle in North America we started this one in the UK, but there was another factor. We wanted to go out touring in North America with a superb band, so when the call came from Kamelot for us to join them on their tour we didn't hesitate! This will be a fantastic tour and a fantastic evening for the fans. See you all there!!!!"

Last month DragonForce released their sixth album, ‘Maximum Overload.’ The effort features vocals from Trivium’s Matt Heafy on three songs, including the blazing opening track ‘The Game.’ Check out the video here.

DragonForce are currently on the road in their native U.K. For complete tour dates click here. Tickets for their North American tour are currently on sale at this location. Fans can order DragonForce’s new album ‘Maximum Overload’ here.
