As the Extreme Medal Olympics come to an end, only two bands have gone undefeated in four straight battles, bringing them to the Gold Medal Round. However, another two acts have proven to be fierce competitors, and although they are no longer in contention for a gold medal, one act will walk away with a bronze one.

Cannibal Corpse fought hard to beat out Napalm Death in the first round, and went on to defeat Fleshgod Apocalypse and Sepultura in the following rounds. Despite some impressive victories, Corpse couldn't shake off American legends Death, succumbing to the band in the Semi Finals. This isn't the end for Cannibal Corpse, as they can still take home a respectable bronze medal.

Also competing for bronze are the five Finnish metal masters from Lake Bodom. Children of Bodom defeated Psycroptic, Gojira and Meshuggah during their Olympic matches, but Dir En Grey came out victorious in the Semi Finals. Finland can still claim the bronze, however, if Bodom can defeat Cannibal Corpse.

This is it. One band will take the bronze, the other will leave with nothing. Check out music from the two bands and vote for your favorite below!

(The Gold Medal and Bronze Medal Rounds will close on Tuesday, August 14, at 12 noon ET. Fans are able to vote once per hour in every poll, so keep coming back to make sure your favorite band wins!)
