Extreme Metal Olympics: Group 2, Round Two

Group two in the Extreme Metal Olympics contains some of the most purely brutal bands from around the globe. The winners from the Opening Round will now compete in some of the most diverse battles offered in the Extreme Metal Olympic groups.
Brazilian thrash legends Sepultura defeated India’s Demonic Resurrection in the Opening Round, bringing the brutal Brazilians into Round Two. They will now face Norway’s Immortal, who beat German technical death by less than 1% of the total vote in the closest match of the Opening Round.
American brutal death icons Cannibal Corpse disposed of British grind innovators Napalm Death in a heated battle. In perhaps the greatest upset of the Opening Round in the Extreme Metal Olympics, Italian technical and brutal death metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse managed to beat out gothic/black metal heavyweights Cradle of Filth. Viva Italia!
