Faith No More have announced a North American spring tour that will see the band perform 15 shows. It will mark the group's first full U.S. shows since 2010.

The group will kick off the North American leg on April 15 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will wrap it on May 15 in Philadelphia. Prior to the stateside trek, the quintet will hit Japan and Australia. After the North American jaunt, the band will head to Europe. Plus, the band has already been tapped as one of the headliners for the Heavy Montreal festival this summer.

The legendary Bay Area band is hard at work on the follow-up to their 1997 effort ‘Album of the Year.’ The as-of-yet untitled album is due this May via Reclamation Recordings. Faith No More founder and bass player Bill Gould is overseeing production of the effort. He said the band is looking forward to hitting the road. “Here we go. First North American tour dates, some in cities we haven’t played in over 17 years.” Gould added, “We are armed with the new material and ready for whatever comes our way.”

Fans will be excited to know the band has a new single coming in March titled ‘Superhero.’ The track will be released as a limited edition 7-inch single on March 17, followed by a digital release on March 31.

Back in November, Faith No More released the single, “Motherf----r,” as part of Record Store Day’s Black Friday event To mark the release of their first new music since the late ‘90s, the band played a surprise set at Amoeba record store in San Francisco.

Tickets for all shows are on sale this Friday, Jan. 30, at 10 am local time.  A fan club pre-sale will be made available on Wednesday, Jan. 28 with more details can be found here. You can see their complete tour dates here.
