Get ready for the return of Flying Colors. The veteran band, which counts Mike Portnoy, Steve and Neal Morse, Dave LaRue and frontman Casey McPherson among its ranks, will be returning this fall with a new album and they're debuting the video for 'Mask Machine' (watch above) exclusively here at Loudwire.

Portnoy tells Loudwire, "I'm so excited about the new Flying Colors album 'Second Nature.' I really think we have taken the amazing musical chemistry we tapped into on the debut to a whole new level this time around."

The drummer adds, "'Mask Machine' was the obvious first single from the album. The minute we wrote it, we knew it! The riffs are so strong and the melodies and vocal hooks are impossible to shake from your head even after just one listen. I suggested director Vicente Cordero after having such a great experience working with him on the Winery Dogs' 'I'm No Angel' video. I think he captured the band's performance in a way that also sums up this great song: dark, moody and intense!"

Check out the 'Mask Machine' performance-based video above. As stated, Flying Colors will return this fall with 'Second Nature.' The disc is due Sept. 29 and you can get a little more insight by checking out the album trailer at the bottom of this post. 'Second Nature' is currently available to pre-order in a variety of formats and bundle options at this location.
