Foo Fighters have debuted yet another track off their upcoming ninth studio album, Concrete and Gold, which comes out this September. "Arrows," a number that builds into a propulsive chorus and ends with a searing guitar solo, premiered in Athens, Greece last night.

The show, taking place at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, was filmed for an episode of the PBS television docu-series Landmarks Live in Concert, which is hosted by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. This show took place on the hill of the ancient Greek citadel the Acropolis of Athens.

“I’ve always wanted to work with the Foo Fighters and do a show in Greece,” the series’ creator/director/exec producer Daniel E. Catullo said in the lead up to the gig. “Having both wishes come true in the same episode is a huge moment for me. When I first came up with the idea for the series, this is exactly what I had in mind — a legendary band playing a legendary venue. We’ve had some incredible shows so far, but this one officially sets our standard at a new level.”

The performance of "Arrows" certainly took the Foo Fighters' show to a new level, with it being song number five from the new record to make an appearance ahead of its Sept. 15 release date. Last week Dave Grohl and Co. dropped "Dirty Water" in Paris, having previously pulled out "Run," the Taylor Hawkins sung track "Sunday Rain," and "Lah Dee Dah." All five tracks from Concrete and Gold were played in Athens.

Up next for the Foos is a tour of the Far East in August which will take them to Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Singapore. The band then kicks off their U.S. run at the Cal Jam festival on Oct. 7. All the Stateside stops can be found here.
