Foo Fighters To Jam With Deadmau5, Lil Wayne and Others at Grammys
Foo Fighters are no stranger to sharing the stage with other rockers but will broaden their horizons at the 54th annual Grammy Awards when they are joined by deadmau5, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and others for a collaborative performance.
The Foo Fighters are always down for a jam session. They often welcome members of rock royalty like Jimmy Page, Brian May and Joan Jett to rip through a couple songs with them at Foo concerts. They even backed Pink Floyd's Roger Waters for a recent performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Their performance at this Sunday's (Feb. 12) Grammys will be a completely different kind of jam session than they're used to.
As part of a new special segment for "music's biggest night," the Foo Fighters will perform with deadmau5, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, and David Guetta to spotlight Dance and Electronica music. The Foo usually aren't the first ones you think of when it comes those two genres, but if we've learned anything from his recent foray into film and TV projects -- Dave Grohl is willing to try just about anything.
Foo Fighters are nominated for multiple Grammys, including Album of the Year for 'Wasting Light' and Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for their hit single 'Walk.' The 54th Grammy Awards are hosted by LL Cool J and will air this Sunday (Feb. 12) at 8p ET on CBS.
