Up-and-coming Seattle rockers Girl on Fire are gearing up to unleash their debut album ‘Not Broken’ on the world July 9 via Century Media Records. In anticipation for the release, Loudwire is offering the exclusive premiere of the explosive video for the band's first single ‘The Takedown' (watch above).

The intense video mixes performance clips with montages of the band members fed up at their day jobs and should resonate with anyone who’s ever had the 9-5 blues and just wants to let loose. The inspiration for the video came pretty easily to the quartet, too.

Drummer Harry McDonald spoke about the transition from working day jobs to becoming full-time rockers and how it impacted the making of the video, explaining, “Having just lost all of our jobs back home due to our recent tour schedule; the video serves as a literal exit from our day jobs into the world of rock music!"

While rock music and debauchery seem to go hand in hand, it’s no surprise that Girl on Fire enjoyed the mayhem that ensued in the video. “We had a blast!” says lead vocalist Austin Held. “ It felt natural, rocking out and breaking s--t. The latter seems to be something we're good at."

'Not Broken' was produced by Jay Baumgardner, whose collection of work includes Evanescence and Papa Roach, leaving Girl on Fire in great company. Pre-order the album at the Century Media Store.
