Glenn Danzig is back at work on new music, putting together a new covers album honoring the late great Elvis Presley. The disc, titled 'Danzig Sings Elvis,' is expected to drop in early 2015.

Danzig posted about his recent sessions on his Facebook page, offering a glimpse into the studio on the anniversary of the day that Elvis died. The photo can be seen below.

Back in February, Danzig posted that he had returned to the studio to work on three new songs with guitarist Tommy Victor for a new album. He stated at the time that the three new songs were part of five they had already completed for a new disc. It is not known how the Elvis EP factors into the sessions that the rocker had earlier this year.

Danzig had spent time in 2013 working on a covers album that included 'Some Velvet Morning,' the Lee Hazelwood/Nancy Sinatra duet that found the rocker paired with The Runaways' Cherie Currie. The song was made available last year, but the covers album that supposedly featured an Elvis cover along with renditions of songs by Black Sabbath and ZZ Top, has yet to surface.
