Guns N’ Roses Fan Punched in Head During Security Snafu in Argentina, Steven Adler Makes Another Guest Appearance

The reunion of Slash and Duff McKagan in Guns N’ Roses has brought on one of the most fruitful tours in recent memory. While the frenzy hasn’t hit a Beatlemania like high, the demand for the group is still monumental. Before the band hit the stage (with Steven Adler making another guest appearance) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, fans took the opportunity to exploit a security mishap, rushing the VIP section en masse.

As can be seen in the video above, some of the partition dividing the crowd from the VIP section came loose and fans seized the chance to get a better view of Guns N’ Roses. During the chaos, an overzealous security guard dressed in blue underneath his reflective yellow vest got punchy and ran through his coworkers, eventually swinging his fist, which connected with the back of a concertgoer’s head who was unable to breach the opening.

The security issues aside, fans in Buenos Aires were treated to an extra special performance as original drummer Steven Adler made another guest appearance with GN’R. As he has in the past on the “Not in This Lifetime” tour, Adler sat behind the drum kit to play “Out Ta Get Me,” but did not man the sticks for “My Michelle” like other select dates. Video of his performance can be viewed below.

Guns N’ Roses have South American dates booked through all of November and will head to Japan and Australia in 2017. For a full list of upcoming dates, head to the band’s website.
