It’s no secret that Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale makes us shake (in a good way) with her powerful vocals, and at this year’s Download Festival over the weekend she performed an acoustic version of the AC/DC classic ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’ with Slipknot / Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor.

Hale’s bandmates reportedly made fun of her for crushing on Taylor, but in Loudwire’s in depth interview with the songstress she set the record straight. “He’s a good friend and his family accepted us with open arms on the last couple tours that we’ve been on with him,” stated Hale.

She went on to say, “Obviously, I have a couple of tour crushes always, it doesn’t mean I’m going to fulfill them especially because most of them are married or taken or out with some model somewhere [laughs] but one of the things that made me really fall in love with him and a lot of the other men I’ve been able to tour with is that they’re just funny and they’re really nice.”

Hale continued, “You can pick out the scariest dude on the tour and guaranteed he’s probably a smush — I just find that so incredibly attractive. With Corey, he will find any way to make you laugh, you could be having the crappiest day and he’ll be walking down the hallway like an old man pretending to pick something up off the ground.”

Old man or not, Taylor’s charismatic presence onstage combined with Hale’s stunning vocal talent make for one hell of a musical pairing. Check out the acoustic performance where where rocked the crowd with their creative rendition of AC/DC’s ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’.
