For the past year fans have waited patiently, and now, they're being rewarded with new Halestorm music. The band has finally revealed the title and release date of the forthcoming album and also unleashed the lead single from the disc as well.

The album will be titled 'Into the Wild Life' and it drops in stores on April 7. The set is currently available for pre-order and you can check out the exclusive physical bundle options that are available at the band's official merch store. Among the specialty items included in the bundles are colored vinyl versions of the 'Into the Wild Life' album and an autographed poster.

As for the new song, it's called 'Apocalyptic.' It's a driving rock track and can be heard in full above, with Lzzy Hale showing off her powerful voice and the band delivering a wall of hard-rocking sound.

The 'Into the Wild Life' album was recorded last year in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce (Cage the Elephant, Eric Church). Lzzy Hale says of the effort, "'Into the Wild Life' is not a departure. It's an invitation to all things Halestorm. Lyrically and musically we explored everything that makes us tick. We set a new standard for this record and gave ourselves no choice other than to be unapologetically ourselves in every way. Peel away at the onion that is our third record if you dare and let us drag you deeper into our world."

Halestorm also revealed that they will be headlining dates this spring in association with Carnival of Madness and Monster Energy. Their first leg of tour dates kicks off April 22 at Nashville's legendary Ryman Auditorium and will take them into May. A fan club pre-sale begins this Wednesday (Jan. 14) at 10AM with the general on-sale set to follow on Friday (Jan. 16) at 10AM local time. VIP packages will also be available and you can learn more about the upcoming dates at the band's website.

The Pretty Reckless will provide support on the run, and Taylor Momsen says, "This is going to be the last tour we do before we start on our new record and it's a great one to finish the cycle. Come see us in 'Hell' one more time."
