With well over 15 years of music and six albums to pull from, High On Fire performed two sold out shows in one night at the Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn.

Loudwire was on hand for the “early” show as fans packed in for a sweat-filled set that began with ‘Madness of an Architect’ and other tracks from ‘De Vermis Mysteriis’ such as ‘Fertile Green’ and ‘Serums of Liao.’

Vocalist and guitarist Matt Pike was all smiles as he shredded along to favorites ‘Rumors of War’ and ‘Snakes for the Divine.’ Fans headbanged throughout their set especially when High On Fire cranked out ‘Baghdad’ from the one that started it all, their debut album ‘The Art of Self Defense.’

Support for the night included Richmond-based psychedelic rock, metal group Windhand, who took the stage for a hard hitting set. Instrumental New Orleans band Mountain of Wizard filled Vitus with killer riffs and awesome drum patterns to start the night off right.
