Huntress recently unveiled their new tripped-out video for the song ‘Zenith.’ The track marks the latest off of their 2013 disc ‘Starbound Beast.’

From spaceships to nuns, the video is inspired by science fiction with hints of horror thrown in for good measure. The clip transforms frontwoman Jill Janus into creepy, cartoonish intergalactic characters in a kaleidoscope of colors as the band plays behind her in black and white.

Janus commented on just how trippy the ‘Zenith’ video is, saying, “You better pack your bongs now ‘cuz this is going to trip you the f--- out! Huntress is ecstatic about our new music video for ‘Zenith.'"

Janus also talked about working with director Phil Mucci and what he brought to the creative process, saying, “Director Phil Mucci is a visionary who brought our galactic hallucinations to life."

Last but not least, Janus also had a shout out to Huntress fans, sharing, “Huntress dedicates ‘Zenith’ to our fans who’ve inspired us on this path, and who continue to travel with us on our cosmic musical journey.  Together we will smoke the galaxies and blaze a new future for true heavy metal!”

This video will definitely take fans on a trip to a different galaxy, no doubt about it. Check it out above.

Huntress are currently out on tour with Danzig and Scar the Martyr. Following that, they will be joining forces with Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God and Testament for a tour. Check out all the dates below:
