We started with 32 great live bands and now we're down to the elite eight in the quarterfinals of Loudwire's Best Live Band tournament. And what a matchup we have to see who advances to the semifinals.

Iron Maiden have successively knocked out Black Sabbath and Judas Priest on their way to the ultimate matchup in the Devil Horn Region. The metal mavens are known for their crushing riffs, blistering solos, killer beats and the force of nature that is frontman Bruce Dickinson. But that's only half of what fans get, as the group has evolved their mascot Eddie to become major set pieces in their performances, always keeping fans guessing how and where he might turn up. It's a sight for the eyes and ears.

Their opponent is this Devil Horn Region matchup is Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper. The original shock rocker defeated Rob Zombie and AC/DC en route to this pairing. And while Cooper has amassed a slew of hard rocking classics over the decades, he's almost as much known for his over the top theatrics during live shows. With stage props like guillotines and electric chairs and fake blood to spare, Cooper makes his live shows memorable and gave audiences something completely different at the time he first arrived on the musical scene.

So who will advance to the Final Four? Do you like Iron Maiden or Alice Cooper in this matchup for Best Live Band? You can vote once per hour in the poll below through the deadline of Tuesday, July 28 at 10AM ET.
