Former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin reportedly turned down offers to appear onstage at GN’R’s April reunion shows in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. According to a band insider, Izzy said no to five-figure paydays per show.

In January, there were rumblings of Stradlin’s involvement in Guns’ reunion gigs. After a couple of months, Izzy stated he would have nothing to do with it. Recently, he called “bulls—t” on his former band, claiming they didn’t want to split the money equally with him.

A recent report on the GN’R Truth messageboard claims Stradlin was offered a per-show fee to appear at the Vegas gigs. Admin and apparent band insider MSL writes, "We know Izzy was in rehearsals at one point and was negotiating to appear at a few of the April gigs. Equal pay was never discussed. A 5-figure fee per cameo is what was being negotiated. But there is a lot of room for negotiation on a 5-figure fee. 10k? 99k? Whatever it was, they were far apart and Izzy bailed. He doesn't need their chump change and they don't need to throw away a bunch of money on a guy that isn't gonna sell many tix."

Guns N’ Roses certainly didn’t have any problem selling concert tickets without Izzy Stradlin, taking in $116.8 million during the band’s two-month North American summer stadium tour. Over a million tickets were sold for just 25 shows — an otherworldly amount for a rock band in 2016.

Guns N’ Roses’ reunion tour will reportedly continue “well into 2017” with dates in Australia and Japan already booked for next year. Stay tuned to Loudwire for all your GN’R updates.
