Though Jane's Addiction initially released a live album, 'Nothing's Shocking' was their first official studio disc. The band quickly found a home on college radio with tracks like 'Mountain Song,' 'Ocean Size' and the Caribbean-flavored favorite 'Jane Says.'

There was no one who had the sonic delivery of Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell and pure unabashed abandon of guitarist Dave Navarro, while drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery made up one of rock's most innovative rhythm sections. In addition, deeper album cuts like 'Had a Dad' and 'Up the Beach' also earned fans' adoration.
