Jason Newsted Talks Influences for New Project, Raising His Horns for Lemmy Kilmister + More

Jason Newsted dropped by our studio for an exclusive video interview not too long ago. We’ve already given you Part 1 of Newsted’s visit and now we’re hitting you with Part 2.

Newsted is proud of every single musical powerhouse he’s been a part of. The bassist, as you can see in the video, wears patches from both Metallica and his new eponymous project. During our interview with Newsted, he talks about how Black Sabbath, Motorhead and yes, even Metallica, influenced his ‘Metal’ EP and ‘Heavy Metal Music’ full-length. He also talks about raising his horns for Lemmy Kilmister at the 2013 Revolver Golden Gods whenever the Motorhead frontman was in sight.

Check out and enjoy Part 2 of our interview with Jason Newsted.
