Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta is a big sports fan, as has been evidenced with his "Stat of the Day" theme song on The Dan Patrick Show. Now he's adding to his "theme" work, penning a new track for MMA superstar Matt "The Immortal" Brown.

The track, called "The Immortal," is being released by Jasta's self-titled solo band on March 10 via iTunes. The song is already streaming at Jasta's Bandcamp page and can be purchased there as well in both extended and original versions. Take a listen to the song below.

Jasta says, “I’ve been thinking about releasing new Jasta tunes for a while now, so when Matt 'The Immortal' Brown asked me if I’d be interested in putting something together for his entrance music, an idea instantly came to mind. I’m a big fan of his so this worked out perfectly. Matt is fighting March 14th at UFC 185, it’s gonna be a war!”

The rocker also previewed the song on The Jasta Show podcast, where he explained, "I've been watching so much MMA and I've been loving it and Matt Brown is one of those guys that I never miss his fights, so I'm really happy that he'll be walking out to this song and I hope you guys enjoy the song."

He also added that he's pretty far into work on the next Jasta album, adding, "I'm doing a little something different with this new Jasta record. That's just one of a ton of songs I already have recorded and I'm thinking of maybe just releasing them as singles every week or two weeks." So stay tuned to see what's coming and where it will be released.

As for Matt "The Immortal" Brown, you can catch him fighting Johny "Bigg Rigg" Hendricks as part of the UFC 185: Pettis vs. Dos Anjos pay-per-view event on March 14 in Dallas. Check here for further details.
