There’s a new supergroup in town by the name of Kill Devil Hill, who are made up of former members of Black Sabbath and Pantera, among others. The band recently signed with SPV / Steamhammer Records and are set to release their debut album in March 2012.

Kill Devil Hill feature Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio, Heaven and Hell) and bassist Rex Brown (Pantera), who quit the band Down earlier this year, along with vocalist Jason “Dewey” Bragg (Pissing Razors), guitarist Mark Zavon (RATT, W.A.S.P.).

The as-yet-untitled upcoming album is being produced by Warren Riker (Sublime, Down, Corrosion of Conformity.) Appice states, “We are a new band with the power, energy and history to stand out, create music and be successful. We are proud to be with SPV, a label with the same attitude, talent and drive!"

Adds Brown, '"It is with a great pleasure to be aboard the SPV music blanket. We are looking forward to a great new experience with a label that has put out many great metal records."

Kill Devil Hill made their live concert debut earlier this year at the Key Club in Los Angeles, Calif. Now the band is getting ready to hit the road with a bunch of tour dates in October and November. Peep the full itinerary below.
