The lineup of the sixth annual California Metalfest has officially been announced. The Nov. 24 festival in San Bernardino, Calif., showcases some of today's biggest names in metal, including As I Lay Dying, Suicide Silence, Asking Alexandria, Black Veil Brides and the Dillinger Escape Plan. Headlining the even will be Killswitch Engage, who will be giving fans an epic performance of their breakthrough album 'Alive or Just Breathing' in its entirety for the first time ever.

Killswitch Engage will be headlining California Metalfest 6, with original vocalist Jesse Leach having reunited with the band earlier this year. 'Alive or Just Breathing' was the last album Killswitch released before the 2002 departure of Leach, and is considered by many to be one of metalcore's most essential albums.

Ash Avildsen, the founder of California Metalfest recently addressed the significance of the upcoming Killswitch performance. "'Alive or Just
Breathing' is one of the most important and timeless albums for this era of heavy music," says Avildsen. "KsE's special headlining set combined with the rest of the line-up is going to make for an incredible day of metal and memories. Having all these bands in the same place on one day is really exciting both as a fan and as a festival producer."

California Metalfest 6 is set to be hosted by wrestling's hardcore legend Mick Foley, along with several other celebrities to be announced at a later date.

The sixth annual California Metalfest will raid San Bernadino on Saturday, Nov. 24. Check out more info about the West Coast fest here.
