Lamb of God recently announced a 2016 headlining U.S. tour with support from Anthrax and the lineup just got even better! The trance-inducing black metal sensation Deafheaven and the gritty, face-ripping thrashers in Power Trip have both been added to the tour. With the two new bands also comes two new dates on the tour: Nashville, Tenn. and Sayreville, N.J., with tickets going on sale Wednesday, Nov. 25.

While Lamb of God will be supporting their 2015 release, VII: Storm und Drang, Anthrax will have a new album to tout. Out Feb. 26, 2016, For All Kings will mark the 11th studio album from the New York thrash quintet. The band released a lyric video for the new song, "Evil Twin," which can be heard and seen here.

Deafheaven will be out in support of New Bermuda and just finished a headlining trek with Tribulation and once-again tourmates Power Trip. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Power Trip bring a taste of the old school with their violent brand of thrash and are hard at work on the follow-up to their debut, Manifest Decimation.

Lamb of God will surely be exciting to hit the road again after having to cancel their remaining appearances on a co-headlining tour with Children of Bodom. The European trek was cut short for the American act following the terrorist attacks in Paris and security issues in other places stemming from those attacks. With Bodom continuing the tour, Lamb of God faced some criticism which was sharply met with a statement from singer Randy Blythe. He details the options the band had to weigh, but ultimately pulled out based on lax security procedures even after the attacks.
