There's sad news to report as the metal world has lost another talent. Ryan Shutler, drummer for the thrash outfit Lazarus A.D., has reportedly passed away.

Lambgoat reports that the musician died Sunday (May 17). Though official details about his death have not been revealed, it's been stated that a heart attack may have taken his life. Early reports stated that Sutler was 29 at the time of his death, but Metal Sucks reports that he was actually 28.

Shutler has been with the band since its inception in 2005. The Wisconsin-based outfit has released two albums on Metal Blade Records -- 2009's The Onslaught and 2011's Black Rivers Flow. The group has been quiet of late, not posting any information on their social networks since February.

The Bloodline were among the first to acknowledge Shutler's passing, posting a video of the band's song "The Ultimate Sacrifice" as a tribute to the musician:

We'd like to offer our condolences to Ryan Shutler's family, friends and bandmates during this difficult time.
