The Spaceman cometh! Get ready Los Angeles, as Ace Frehley will sit down for a live conversation with moderator Ryan J. Downey at the MI Concert Hall in L.A. on Sept. 25. The chat, which will run from 7:30-9:30PM, comes right as Frehley is set to release his latest album, Spaceman, which is due Oct. 19.

Ace recently released the new song "Rockin' With the Boys," a track that has a lengthy history as he wrote it back in the '70s, and it follows on his previous single from the album, "Bronx Boy." The set consists primarily of original material, though Frehley did cover Eddie Money's "I Wanna Go Back" for the set.

The album also features a guest turn from Frehley's onetime KISS bandmate Gene Simmons, who shows up on the songs "Your Wish Is My Command" and "Without You I'm Nothing." Simmons also reportedly suggested the Spaceman album title for Frehley's new disc. Though Frehley is no longer a member of KISS, he remains friendly with both Simmons and Paul Stanley, as Stanley made a guest turn on his previous covers album, Origins, Vol. 1.

Look for Downey and Frehley to dig into the guitar great's past, present and future during the chat. It should be a lively conversation for all KISS and Ace Frehley fans.

Our sister site Ultimate Classic Rock is co-promoting this chat. "A Live Conversation With Ace Frehley" will be a free event, but you'll need to RSVP to Eventbrite using the code SPACEMAN in order to attend. The MI Concert Hall is located at 1655 N. McCadden Place in Los Angeles.
