Life on the road can be brutal, especially when you're sick! And that's something that Machine Head's Robb Flynn knows all to well, as he's suffered several maladies and physical afflictions over the years, but somehow manages to soldier on. Flynn, one of the most consistent artists in keeping fans up to date via videos and blogs, has just posted a new video that details some of the agony he underwent earlier this year while touring with the band from Australia to Kuala Lumpur.

In the 20-minute film documenting the band's touring, we see Flynn dealing with an ear infection that gets progressively worse as time goes on. Despite suffering significant pain, Flynn attempts to make the flight to Kuala Lumpur and while everything is fine on the ascent, as the plane begins to descend, the rocker suffers excruciating pain, eventually causing his to have a seizure. While we don't see the convulsions, we learn that Flynn fell unconscious during the flight and had to be wheeled out by a crew member who happened to be a former EMT to the airport hospital.

The vocalist was treated and eventually revived and unfortunately he was stuck in Kuala Lumpur, something that he mentioned earlier in the video that he hoped wouldn't happen. It was later determined that Flynn had ruptured his eardrum. You can watch the whole harrowing experience in the video documentary that Flynn posted on the band's Facebook page below.
