Metal Madness 2013, Semifinals

March Metal Madness Final Four

Loudwire’s March Metal Madness 2013 is down to the final four! This year’s bracketed competition has been a rollercoaster of victory and despair as we’ve challenged metalheads to name the greatest metal album of all time. Beginning with 32 albums, metal fans from around the world have been casting their votes, successfully narrowing down the mass of metal masterpieces to only four records.

In our first Final Four matchup, we’ve got Black Sabbath‘s ‘Paranoid’ facing Metallica‘s ‘Master of Puppets.’ As perhaps the two most iconic metal acts in history, this is sure to be a monstrous battle between the heavy-as-hell giants.

In the other semifinal match, Megadeth‘s ‘Rust in Peace,’ which just defeated Slayer’s ‘Reign in Blood’ will face off against Dream Theater‘s ‘Images and Words,’ which took out Judas Priest’s ‘Screaming for Vengeance’ in the previous round.

Which two albums with make it to the Championship battle? The choice is yours to make. Click the button below to begin voting!
