Was Harley Quinn a maggot? Actress Margot Robbie, who recently played Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad movie and is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday night (Sept. 29). With Metallica also on the show, the conversation turned to music, and Robbie revealed she went through quite a metal phase in her youth.

Speaking with Fallon, she revealed, "I had a real like heavy metal phase. I was like 14 and I dyed my hair black and I cut it with a razor blade and I'd only wear like band shirts and go listen to the heaviest of heavy metal. It was a really weird phase, but like Silverstein and Bullet for My Valentine and bands like that."

The actress went on to cite Slipknot as one of her favorite shows. "I went to a Slipknot concert and to this day it was probably the best concert I've ever gone to," stated Robbie. "They're just amazing performers and even if you don't like metal, I think you would appreciate a Slipknot concert, cause it's just incredible to watch."

Robbie, who launched her career as a teenager on the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours, recalled, "As you can imagine the people that would generally watch Neighbours would be like families over dinnertime or young people, but at the Slipknot concert I got more recognized at the Slipknot concert than anywhere else I'd ever been while I was on Neighbours. It was so weird. I was like, 'This is one place where no one's going to come up to me,' and yeah, huge guys with tattoos and piercings everywhere and like asking me, 'Is Bridget's baby really dead?'"
