Creed / Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti just issued his first solo single, 'You Waste Your Time,' and it jumped up to No. 10 on the iTunes Rock Singles Chart after only one day of release. To say that the response was a surprise to Tremonti is an understatement.

He states, "I am overwhelmed by the positive response the song has already received. I never imagined it would hit the Top 10 so quickly and that is a testament to the amazing fans I have. I couldn't have gotten anywhere in my career without them and want to thank each and every one of them for their support. I can't wait until they hear the rest of it."

This is only the beginning of Tremonti's path to solo success. A performance video for 'You Waste Your Time' is currently in the works, and his 'All I Was' album is due July 10 via FRET12 Records, Tremonti's own label that he founded with his brother Daniel and friend Tom Stanley.

Billed as Tremonti, the singer/guitarist completed his disc with the help of guitarist Eric Friedman, drummer Garrett Whitlock, and his Creed and Alter Bridge cohort Brian Marshall on bass. Mark has stated that his album is definitely hard rock with some speed metal influence and his core melody elements as well.
