The album that will be available free of charge features songs that were inspired by HBO’s popular series, Game of Thrones.

Some of the other rock and metal artists on the compilation include Anthrax, Killswitch Engage and Mushroomhead. It also includes Snoop Dogg, Talib Kweli, Method Man, Melanie Fiona, Estelle and more. The fifth season of Game of Thrones premieres April 12 on HBO.

More Mastodon material will be available on Record Store Day April 18. Fans will be able to buy a 12″ limited edition vinyl picture disc with the track “Atlanta” featuring Gibby Haynes from Butthole Surfers doing guest vocals that’s backed with an instrumental version of the song. Guitarist Brent Hinds did the artwork for the release.
